Product Summary
Our halo-lit (reverse-illuminated) channel letters are dimensional, architectural-grade signage elements designed for high-visibility exterior and interior branding. The letters are constructed with opaque metal faces and returns, utilizing rear-facing LED modules to project light onto the mounting surface, creating a distinct, high-contrast “halo” effect around the perimeter of each character.

Technical Specifications
- Face Material: .090″ routing-grade aluminum, precision CNC-cut.
- Return (Side) Material: .063″ aluminum strip, precisely formed and seamlessly MIG or TIG welded to the letter face to ensure zero light leak.
- Backer/Diffuser: 3/16″ (4.5mm) routed clear or frosted Polycarbonate (Lexan) backing. This prevents debris nesting while diffusing the light evenly against the wall surface.
- Finish: Automotive-grade, two-part polyurethane paint system (e.g., Matthews Paint). UV and weather-resistant. Custom color matching to precise PMS (Pantone) or RAL specifications.
- Illumination Source: Premium, fully encapsulated 12V DC SMD LED modules (IP68 rated for wet locations). Arranged internally for optimal, hotspot-free dispersion.
- Color Temperature (CCT): Standard options include 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Neutral White), and 6500K (Cool White), as well as dedicated red, blue, green, and amber LED modules.
- Power Requirements: 12V DC input. Requires a remotely mounted, hardwired Class 2 LED power supply in a weatherproof NEMA enclosure.
- Certifications: Fully UL/cUL listed as a completed sign assembly; ADA compliant (for interior depth projections).

Mounting & Hardware Configurations
- lush/Standoff Mount: Individually mounted directly to the fascia utilizing 1/4″-20 threaded aluminum studs welded to the interior face.
- Spacers: Installed with 1.5″ to 2″ non-corrosive nylon or aluminum standoff sleeves to create the necessary gap for the halo light throw.
- Wiring: Requires individual wall penetrations behind each letter for low-voltage wire routing to the remote power supplies.
- Raceway Mount: Available factory-mounted to an extruded aluminum raceway (painted to match the building fascia) when direct structural wall access is limited or wall penetrations must be minimized.
Maintenance & Operating Environment
Engineered for both indoor and fully exposed outdoor environments (IP68 LED modules). Operating temperature range is -40°F to 140°F. Exterior maintenance requires bi-annual cleaning of the wall surface behind the letters (to maintain light reflectivity) and wiping down the painted aluminum with a non-abrasive mild detergent and water.
▤ Materials: Welded aluminum, polycarbonate backer, IP68 LED modules, polyurethane paint
